Thanks for a great 2013

I wanted to thank all of the 5Seeds customers who purchased loop scarves, headbands and head bandanas in 2013.  Your support this year is very appreciated!  I am working to get new products sewn and available for future shows in 2014.

I am available for private shows, so please email me through the website if you want to set up an event. I have done a number of these in 2013 at schools, large corporations and women's groups.  Sometimes a small show is great because the shoppers love the exclusivity of the event.

To the 5Seeds "Stalkers":  Happy Holidays!  I can't wait to see you in 2014!

Snow and Cold!

It was so cold and snowy today that it was perfect for staying in and getting more loop scarves sewn for my craft fair this weekend.  I will be at Rangeview High School Craft Fair this Saturday from 9am to 4pm.  I have about 15 new scarves available that have never been seen at any of my shows.  I even have 4 one-of-a-kind warm knit scarves available that are made out of 3 different fabrics each.  These are really unique loop scarves because when they are worn the different fabrics make it look like you have on more than one scarf.  I usually only have a few of these for each show because they take a long time to make and are very fussy to work with.  These usually go fast so come by early and see if any are still available.

A big thanks to April at Holly Creek Retirement Community for the fair she put on last Tuesday.  As usual, April was super organized and easy to work with.  I think all of the residents at Holly Creek had a great time.  I can't wait to do it again next year!

One last thing, some of you were asking if I would get in some more colors of ruffle loop scarves.  I now have blue (on the turquoise side of blue), pink and purple back in stock.  I only have a few of each so come by early.

Busy Busy Week!

I am getting ready for an exclusive show with 7 vendors in Highland Ranch tomorrow night.  I have added about 30 new fabrics to the loop scarves this week.  I am now up to over 175 unique loop scarves.  If you saw me at Highlands Ranch two weeks ago or last week at Ye Olde Yuletide, you should plan on checking out my new stock.  Over 50 new loop scarf fabrics added in just the last 2 weeks.  This also means that many of these new fabrics will also be found on the Headband table.

This weekend will be busy for 5Seeds.  I will be at Cherokee Trail High School fair in Aurora and we will have a second location at Thomas Jefferson High School in Denver.

The view from my desk

I've been sewing loop scarves all day getting ready for Ye Olde Yuletide this weekend.  I think I have over 15 new fabrics.  I have a new pink/black ruffle, 6 or 7 new warm winter knits and the rest are all jersey knit.  I've inserted an image of some of the new fabrics.  If you saw me at Highlands Ranch last weekend, none of these fabrics were out on display.

I will have a bunch of each of these fabrics sewn for this weekend.  Come and check them out!

5Seeds was at the Highlands Ranch Jewelry Fair yesterday.  It was a decent fair.  The traffic could have been a little better for me.  What made my day were several gals I will call the 5Seeds stalkers.  They bought a bunch of loop scarves and headbands from me at the Sweet William Market at Stapleton in September.  Well, the girls stalked me all the way to Highlands Ranch!  It was great to see you both!  5Seeds loves its shopping stalkers!

I will be sewing a lot this week to get ready for Ye Olde Yuletide market this coming Saturday in Parker.  If you need some Christmas gifts for $3-$15 come and see us at this market.  It is a really big and busy market and should be a lot of fun.  I have a ton of wintery warm knit loop scarves right now so they are perfect for Colorado weather.  I am also fully stocked up on my jersey knit and ruffle scarves.

My latest event was the Willow Creek Fall Festival.  It was this past Sunday in the Willow Creek Park. Despite the weather it was a great event.  My kids had the best time sitting on the bull and taking a hayride.  There was free food and a live band.  It was a great location to sell my products.  I decided to just take my loop scarves because it was windy.  My headbands would have blown away!

I'm busy sewing more loops scarves and headbands today trying to get my inventory back up for my event this weekend in the Springs.  It will be at Coronado High School in Colorado Springs.

CCSD was amazing

I did an exclusive showing of my loops scarves yesterday for the CCSD (Cherry Creek School District) district employees.  Wow can those girls shop!  It was an amazing event and a lot of fun helping everyone pick out loop scarves for themselves and for holiday gifts.  Thank you CCSD!

I got an email today from a fabulous CCSD (Cherry Creek School District) security guard that I left my 5Seeds banner at Overland.  I say fabulous because she offered to bring it to me at Gateway High School this weekend.  Girl, you rock!  Thank you so much!

I'm busy making new 5Seeds loop scarves for this weekend.  I have 3 shows this weekend.  On Friday I will be at CCSD, Saturday I will be at Gateway H.S., and Sunday I will be at the 3rd annual Willow Creek Fall Festival.  I found some awesome new fabrics for scarves, so I should have about 15 new colors/prints to choose from.

I am really excited about the Willow Creek Fall Festival this year.  It is basically in my backyard and it has a whole lot going on this year.  There will be food, games, vendors as well as live music.  The organizer is even going to have a bull (tame I'm sure) and a Clydesdale Horse for this kids to look at.  It will be fun for me because I will be a vendor and my family will be there.

5Seeds has finally started a blog!  I am looking forward to letting everyone know what is happening with 5Seeds.

Today 5Seeds was at Overland High School Craft Fair.  The fair was really well run and a lot of fun to be a vendor at.  I met lot of really great people.  One woman in particular gave me some great advice about starting a blog to help stay connected with customers.  If you are out there, thank-you!
